18: Alex Grieg, Greenhaus Architects, bring his specialised skill to play in this strawbale home in Havelock North. The emphasis is on sustainable building, living and conservation.

22: Jason Walker, Walker Architecture, shows creative flare and innovation can produce an exceptional building of the highest standard. This followed the Christchurch earthquake when the tenants, PGG Wrightson Seed, building was destroyed.

32: Owners Ian and Linda Gare worked in collaboration with Nathan Shearing from Fat Hippo Design Group in Invercargill to refine their lifestyle home.

36: Steve Haines (PCC) and Paul Ross (Roofing Industries) considered the efforts of this small community to be exceptional and donated the coil and True Oak Corrugate roofing for the community Hall.
