Steel Fixing

 

When attached to metal purlins, the longitudinal wires of the safety mesh must be passed through a hole drilled in the top of the purlin and tied off with at least four full turns around the same wire. See Longitudinal Wires Run Through Steel Purlin.
 

Alternatively the longitudinal wires of the safety mesh must be passed once completely around the purlin, the tail of each wire being twisted four times around the main portion of the same wire. See Longitudinal Wires Wrapped around Purlin
