Aluminium

There are many aluminium alloys available for use in roof cladding, and roll formed panels can be made from soft, 1/2 hard or 3/4 hard tempers with a minimum thickness of 0.7 mm. See Aluminium

Pure aluminium strip (99%), known as 'dead soft', is used for flashings in widths between 150 mm and 600 mm in thicknesses of 0.30 mm, 0.45 mm, 0.55 mm, and 0.70 mm.
